In the event of a local or national lockdown or if a pupil cannot attend school for reasons listed here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/actions-for-schools-during-the-coronavirus-outbreak/guidance-for-full-opening-schools, Greenfield E-ACT Academy is well prepared to provide continuity of education via our virtual school.
Academy opening hours
Due to COVID 19 we will be staggering the start and finish times from September 2020. Information about this has been posted on our school Facebook page and is in our Newsletter.
Breakfast club from September 2020 will run from 8-9am and will be limited in the first instance. This can be booked through the office initially and will then be booked on ParentPay.
Our ‘Friends of Greenfield’ parent group meets regularly to fund raise and support the families and children at our school. More information can be found here.
ONLINE SAFETY Resources
- Kidsclick search engine (safer than Google as content is filtered) – Kidsmart web resources and games for adults and children to learn about e-safety online together
- National Safety Tool – an online tool for schools to give parents advice and tips on preparing their children for adult life on a whole range of issues, including E-safety.
- NSPCC – Parent information about e-safety from the NSPCC
From Easter, Aspens will be replacing their current paper copies of the menus for parents with electronic versions on their app and on their website. It also gives you direct access to the Aspens team if you have any questions about the meal service.
