The E-ACT Mental Health Curriculum is our universal mental health curriculum. It has a strong focus on self-care, wellbeing, emotional resilience and recognising emotions. It ensures that pupils are given accurate and appropriate information about different mental health difficulties therefore reducing the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health difficulties and encouraging pupils and staff to talk about mental health. This will enable pupils to better understand their thoughts and feelings, recognise difficulties they or others may be experiencing and create a caring environment which encourage pupils to share their concerns and ensure they receive the appropriate help they need in order to achieve or maintain positive mental health and well-being.
Printed copies of our Mental Health Curriculum Framework are available via the school office.
